Please refer to the Rules and Regulations for how the Clubhouse may be used.
The Clubhouse may be reserved for use by homeowners and lessees and they must be present at the Clubhouse event and assume all responsibility.
Arrangements to use the Clubhouse are to be made by the homeowner with the Ridge Reservations Coordinator, Jan Brumm (634-1168). Be prepared to respond to three questions to determine the fees to be charged. The questions are:
Are you the homeowner or lessee?
What is the occasion for the event?
How many people do you expect?
For a party of 1-50 guests, a refundable deposit of $35.00 is required and a $15.00 non-refundable fee is charged.
For a party of 51-100 guests, the refundable deposit is $50.00 and the non-refundable fee is $25.00.
The Clubhouse is not available for events over 100 people.
The key may be picked up from the Ridge Reservations Coordinator, on the day of the event and should be returned on the last day of the event.
No decorations are permitted outside the building.
Decorating may be done inside; however all wall hangings, pictures and plants (excluding centerpieces), may not be removed. No pins, tacks, scotch tape or nails on the walls.
Clubhouse hours are from 7:00 AM-10:00 PM. Parties are to be limited to these hours.
Fees must be paid by the homeowner or lessee by check. Two checks are required: one for the deposit and one for the non-refundable fee.
All rules and regulations for the tennis courts and swimming pools must be observed if your party chooses to use them. The rules are posted in the pool area. Food may be served only in the Clubhouse.
Other homeowners will not have access to the Clubhouse during your event; however they will have use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts.
No smoking or illegal drugs are allowed in the Clubhouse.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the Clubhouse; however any persons who drink them are held responsible. The HOA takes no responsibility in the event of any accident.
There are six (6) round tables, four (4) rectangular tables and four (4) card tables for use and there are approximately 100 chairs. There are also plates, glasses, silverware and tablecloths available. The kitchen facilities are there for Clubhouse usage.
Clean up requirements: vacuum the carpeted floor; wipe up the kitchen and serving bar area floor; wash dishes and generally make sure you leave it the way you found it or better (neat and clean); launder any linen you may have used and return to the Clubhouse. Your deposit refund refund is based upon how the facilities were left after your event.
Trash must be in plastic bags and placed in the container outside the kitchen door.
All original homeowners were provided with a key to the Exercise Room upon purchase of a unit; transfer of ownership assumes the assumption of the key to the Exercise Room from the previous owner. If a key replacement is needed, contact Ron Brumm, 435-634-1168 and be prepared to pay a $25.00 replacement fee.
Homeowners and guests must be over 14 years of age to use the exercise equipment with the exception of the treadmill.
A 30 minute limit must be observed when others are waiting.
Treadmill Instructions
Must be 18 years of age to use treadmill
Must weigh less than 250 pounds
Only one person at a time
CAUTION: Do not stand on walking belt when turning on power. Stand on the foot rails.
The treadmill is an expensive piece of equipment. Please be responsible in taking good care of it so that all can enjoy it for a long time.
Do not remove the treadmill key from the exercise room. If the treadmill key is missing, please call the Louise Kingsbury.
All original homeowners were provided with a key to the Pool Area upon purchase of a unit; transfer of ownership assumes the assumption of the key to the Exercise Room from the previous owner. If a key replacement is needed for the pool area only, contact Ron Brumm, 435-634-1168 and be prepared to pay a $25.00 replacement fee. NOTE: The key to the pool area is a magnetic chip key.
The pool and recreation areas are solely for the use of homeowners and their guests. A guest is defined as the homeowner's immediate family and/or sleep over guests. Immediate family is defined as parents, children, and grandchildren of the homeowner(s). A reasonable number of guests at any one time per unit is permitted. The homeowner is responsible for the conduct of their guests on Ridge property at all times.
Age:
Children still in diapers are not permitted in pool unless they are freshly diapered with commercial pool-safe diapers.
Children 14 years of age and under, when using the pool or whirlpools, must be accompanied by an adult (16 years or older).
Use of the whirlpools by any homeowner or guest is at his or her own risk. It is strongly recommended that children five (5) and under DO NOT use the whirlpools.

Cleanliness Rules
Shower BEFORE using pools or whirlpools.
Swimwear must be worn. Street clothes are not allowed in the pool.
Conduct
Unsafe behavior such as running, jumping and throwing persons into the pool is strictly forbidden. Disregard of posted safety rules or other actions which are not conducive to safe and reasonable operation of the pool will result in disciplinary Board action.
No running or jumping
No diving
No loud noise. Ear phones must be used when playing radios/cassettes/CD/DVD or MP3 players
No profanity
Homeowners are responsible for the actions of their guests/lessees.
Wheeled devices are not permitted on the pool area surface.
Pool Area
Common sense should be used in regard to large inflatable toys/devices.
No glass or breakable objects
No food may be served in the pool areas.
Pick up trash and deposit in available containers.
Keep gate closed and locked securely.
No pets allowed in the pool areas.
No throwing of hard objects.
There shall be NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES and NO ILLEGAL DRUGS at any time and at any place in the pool areas - indoors or outdoors.
There is NO LIFE GUARD on duty at the pools. Homeowners shall exercise all reasonable and prudent means of avoiding accidents or risk or injury. THE RIDGE HOA takes no responsibility in the event of any accident.
The RIDGE pool and adjacent facilities shall be treated as an OWNER PRIVILEGE (not as a community facility). Due to the high costs of maintaining the pool and facilities and the requisite insurance, pool rules shall be strictly enforced.
While all of the above may appear negative direction, we sincerely hope all homeowners and lessees realize that these rules and regulations are necessary to establish boundaries for good behavior so that these amenities may be truly enjoyed by all and that they be kept in proper condition for future use.

Persons need not relinquish any court on which they are playing until they have completed their match or have occupied the court for one hour.
In the event the courts are filled, singles are encouraged to double up to accommodate waiting players.
Players shall wear clothing appropriate to the tennis courts. Men and boys must wear shirts. Bathing suits or cut-offs are not appropriate.
Only non-marking tennis shoes shall be worn on the courts.
Pets and non-playing children are not permitted in the court enclosures.
Wheeled devices are not permitted on the court surface.
Loud boisterous conduct, loud music or profanity will not be tolerated on the courts.
Children playing tennis are expected to adhere to the same rules of conduct as the adults and must be under direct supervision.
Violations of tennis rules will lead to a suspension of all privileges related to tennis.
Please observe tennis etiquette at all times.
Lights are available for night play, but they should be turned off immediately after play.
